Adapcit Uganda is proud to be part of an innovative and dynamic business community which offers board-level support to businesses in the disciplines of designs and publishing, Information Technology, engineering, education/capacity building, tourism, finance, marketing, sales, legal/advocacy and of course human resources.
Business owners identify the type of support they need and get strategic and practical input from highly experienced business people on a part-time basis. External and objective they contribute expertise and a ‘big picture’ perspective with a focus on achieving agreed business objectives.
The business owner gains a trusted advisor and the business achieves better results – at a fraction of the cost of a full-time Board Director.
There are major two areas where partners come from; Profit making firms and charity (philanthropic) organizations
- PROFIT BASED ORGANIZATIONS
A for-profit organization exists primarily to generate a profit, that is, to take in more money than it spends. The owners can decide to keep all the profit themselves, or they can spend some or all of it on the business itself. Or, they may decide to share some of it with employees through the use of various types of compensation plans, e.g., employee profit sharing.
Adapcit Uganda since 2012 has been working with business owner to maximize their profits and so we charge them fairly not to drain their accounts in order to continue with us. There are over 100 companies we have in our database. Our customer retainable skills have made the to continue with us and the number is ever growing.
- CHARITY ORGANIZATIONS (CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY)
Alongside the social activities we arrange, the Adapcit team has also banded together to spent 10% of annual profit for charity organizations. Each year, we come up with a shortlist of vital causes to support, and the entire team is asked to vote for the charity that is closest to their heart. Activities like these not only help us to strengthen our team, but also enable us to give back to the community at the same time.
